The time flies by as we grow up.
Isn’t it interesting to observe, how the time seems to run faster and faster the older we get? I can still remember the days, when the summer break from school, 6 weeks of time, felt like an eternity. A year was packed with seemingly endless weeks of school, learning and the like. But not even that, in fact, I always had the feeling that August would represent the middle of the year, when in fact, it did not.
Strange indeed!
How does it come that for me as a child, the first 7 month of the year felt as long as the other 4 month in autumn and winter? How is that even possible? But what makes things even more interesting is to look at my feeling of time today. I am 26 years old and the time is already flying by. Sure, currently I do not have a problem with that. But once I have my Porsche, well, the time can stop please!

Time is this funny thing that we do not really understand.
Time is limited, we all know that! But how many of us think about it on a regular basis? Is it ok to fear not getting done with all of our projects before saying goodbye once and for all? Time is an interesting thing! We change over time. We improve, forget, learn, forget again, change, risk something and the list can go on like this forever.
But what is it, that we need to understand?
What is the secret behind dealing with this thing we call time? What is it that we do not see, or trying to ignore? That we can’t stop the time? That life doesn’t make any sense? I enjoy journaling back in time and imagine what I could do differently. I could prevent some mistakes from happening. I could avoid my two points in Flensburg for not keeping enough distance to the car in front and the list goes on and on an on.
But is that even a good idea? Changing the past? In movies, it’s never a good idea. In reality, I just don’t care, because it’s not possible. And even if I could, I don’t think that I would want to change something. My life is great! Why should I risk anything for an improvement, when I most likely risk losing it all?
Time is our friend.
Time heals all the wounds, they say and right they are. We forget! And therefore, time is a great thing! It gives us the opportunity to grow! To do it all over again and again and again until we have reached our goals. Time can be your friend! No! Time needs to become your friend!
See you next time!
