“The sky is the limit” is what we say, but it isn’t even true. The sky is not the limit and we know it. There is a world beyond our eye sight, something, whatever it is.
We go through life with a feeling that we understand, when we do not understand it after all. What is right and what is wrong? What are we supposed to do?
The most of us don’t like uncertainty. We want to understand! And so we have defined life. We have written down what it means, what we have to do, how we have to behave. I am not saying that this is wrong after all, building up a society without rules ain’t gonna happen. But it all leads to one big disadvantage.
Growing up in this modern world, we experience limitations, everywhere!
From speed limits to the recent COVID-19 rules. There are a ton of rules surrounding us everyday. Again, this doesn’t need to be a bad thing after all, but unfortunately it is. We grow up with limitations.
We look at the world via google maps and see all the borders, when in reality there are no borders visible like this. We do not just do follow our instincts, letting the entrepreneurial spirit take over. No, we are thinking things through. And so I catch myself wondering more about the tax situations once I make some money, instead of actually figuring something out that gives me money in the first place.
But it’s not just the business world. We can experience it everywhere. Pick whatever you like, you will always think in limitations. It has become a part of us. An innate thing.
Of course there are limitations, but not as many as we think we can see. The problem, we don’t see it. We are too busy trying to adapt, we do not even realize what we are doing. Namely limiting ourselves.
One day or another we will all understand. But hopefully it’s not too late then. This is your life. Don’t forget that! It is your right, no, it is your task to follow your passion and at least try! Believe me, there is nothing worse than not having at least tried to do it. You can fail and do it again! Of course! But if you do not even try, well, you will loose right now.
See you next time!
