I have never understood the reason, but nobody has asked me anyways. It was just not important, my opinion I mean. But I saw it! I new it! For me, it was clear. You do not have to be an expert to see it. Two working eyes are more than enough. But would they listen? Do they listen? No, they don’t. They do not listen. Not to us. But especially not to me.

It was the way they worked. The way they did things. It was the whole picture. Everything basically. And the simple things make it clear the most. A “good morning” when walking by. Respect. A team. No, these were just people put together in one place. Forced to work together. Cooperation? No chance. There were teams. Small teams. That worked. But combining to different teams? Making the big picture? No!

It was not their fault. We can blame the system. It is how it is. And this is how it is. This is how it is supposed to be. You can’t change it. We can’t change it. I can not change it. So I left. I moved on. I took the next step. I was looking for another place. A better place. A place that doesn’t exist, or does it?

I did not find it. Not here, not there. Until? I did not find it until? Until I build my own system? Until I form the perfect team, gather the right people around me. It’s not easy. I never was! But nobody said that it would be easy. Not today, not tomorrow, not yesterday. Life isn’t easy. Life is always complicated. But we decide how complicated it might feel.

Can we escape the system? Learn from the past? Yes, we can. But do we want to? Why swimming against the stream? Why investing the energy? Why do we care? Why do we do not just follow the others. Accept how it is and move on. Because we can’t? Or because we don’t want?
