#1060² BEHIND THE BLOG² – S4 E5 – ONE WEEK OFF

It’s about time for a break.

Time is flying these days, unbelievable. It’s already late May, can’t believe it. Having a week off is usually a moment to celebrate. And don’t get me wrong on that, I will enjoy this week. But it was not really necessary.

We have been talking about our personal “pace” quite often and as long as you stay within your limits, a break isn’t really what you need. Well, I have to take the holidays somehow and one week before the Nürburgring 24 hour race seems to be a good choice. This week will be dedicated to motorsport and indeed the last four days have been working brilliantly. I drive up to five stints on the simulator a day and do my workout and stretching in between.

It’s not that I am completely healthy again, but I am working on that. By the way, my assumption was right, indeed there is something wrong. Well, at least I am not crazy. My doctor suggested that I might be a bit overdramatic, well now I know that this is not the case, but a real solution to solve my issues has not even the doctor. I guess this will be my next big project. Not becoming a doctor of course, but to help myself get rid of this issue.

What’s on the agenda besides motorsport? Not much actually. Talking with and meeting some friends, watching some movies, having a great time as usual. My life on a holiday looks exactly as a normal day at work just with the difference that I am not working on the projects from work. But besides that, I do the same day in day. Doing what I love and not what others expect me to do.

See you next time!
