The habit of creating habits might be the best habit of all. While some of us seem to reach their goals effortlessly others struggle a bit more. The reason? There must be more than one reason, right? Agreed! But one of the reasons why people fail is the lack of commitment. They get their gym membership and do their workouts in the first weeks and days quite regularly but then reality kicks in and priorities change. Other people would say that this is a part of life, get over with, but not for me. This kind of behavior is a clear indicator for a lack of so many things. Willpower, commitment, pick whatever you like. Nobody said it will be easy, but with the help of habits you everyone can do it.
Once you have accepted the new part of your life, the habit will make it stick. Once doing something feels no longer as a burden or a task to get over with the fun can begin. Creating a habit of doing something starts a fascinating process. We are doing something, not because we have to, but because it has become a part of our daily life.
We all have so many habits. Some of them are quite productive, others maybe not. The goal is never to become an over performing psycho, but a better version of yourself.
