Excellence is an attitude, not an attribute.
Companies use it in their slogans. A company I have worked for used it. But it takes more than just a nice sounding slogan. Excellence can never be inherited, excellence has to be earned. It doesn’t matter where you are currently standing in life, it doesn’t matter what you do, we can become excellent in whatever we do. It’s not a question about how, it’s a question of when.
As soon as your expectations meet the requirements at hand, the expectations are no longer the important part of the equation. It’s not important what you expects, it’s important what is required.
You can reach a level worth calling excellence, but it’s not a one time in a life achievement. Excellence is an ongoing process that requires hard work, dedication and motivation. Use it or loose it. Stay in the right mindset or you will loose it.
