We all have our ups and downs. On some days we feel great, on others we don’t. What helps us to keep on going? Goals! Having a reason to fight for is always better than having no reason. But sometimes we are loosing our goals from sight. Sometimes life is just life and we don’t feel particularly well.
What helps is a motivational boost. Something that lights on our fire again. A small present to ourself, a raise, the acquiring of something we have waited for so long. It doesn’t necessarily has to be something big to boost up our level of motivation again. Yesterday I got my new iPad. I waited for it for more than one and a half years. It’s not that I couldn’t afford it for all those months, I simply wanted to wait for the next generation. Was it worth the waiting? Yes, it was! And what about the motivational boost? It’s gigantic! But I am not saying that you should spend all your money trying to find some motivation. You can find motivation in other things as well. Having a walk in the nature, going to the gym, you know what works best for you and what doesn’t.
