Sometimes having a walk is all you need.
If there is one thing we do, it’s avoiding to be undistracted.
We have all been there. There comes a moment in someones life when there is just nothing to do. It may happen more often on the weekends and in winter, but it happens. A moment ago we still had something to do. A task, a job, a game, writing a text message, talking to a friend, watching a YouTube video, eating, drinking, whatever we do. But now it’s done. We are ready to move on. To pick the next challenge. We have to do something! A short moment or two moments are fine, but please not longer than that. But if you don’t know what to do next, it might happen. There is nothing to do. Strange. Really? There is nothing to do? No! And you are sitting there starting to wonder. Starting to think. Starting to listen to yourself. But it doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t feel good. It feels rather strange. It feels irritating and so we usually avoid those situations in life. We get distracted again. Scroll through social media, talk with someone about something stupid, we do whatever it takes in order to avoid being on our own. Having to deal with ourselves is nothing we do or like.

Just ask yourself when was the last time you had such a moment. What did you do? You will be surprised how creative we can be once we are in this situation. We avoid it under any circumstances. Isn’t that fascinating? Why are we doing it? What are we afraid of? I want to change this. I want to focus more on being with myself. I want to understand who I am and how I think. I am 27 years already but apparently I have no clue about myself.
See you next time!
