Once you know that you need one, you get one. It’s just a matter of time.

Time isn’t the answer we are looking for. Everything solves itself over time, no doubt about that. But do we have all that time in the world. Don’t we want the Porsche now?

Once you have reached the level of acceptance you can focus on other parts of your life again.

It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when. When is the right time? When does it suit us and our lifestyle. It’s the expectation, the waiting, the suffering that makes this thing so great. Once we have the car it will feel good, maybe even awesome. But it will never be as good as expected. Or at least that is what I think.

Once the car is getting closer, the fear of making a mistake gets bigger.

Set it and forget it might be the best strategy there is. You define what you want, you define when you want this thing in your life, well, and then you forget about it and focus on other things. Looking for other cars online or laying in bed dreaming about owning it seems fine, but makes things worse after all. We do not only remind us that we do not have the car yet, we also make ourselves feeling bad for not having it already.

Life is a journey, and so is the Porsche awaiting. The day will come, the day will come.

See you next time!
