After 18 years it was time to say good bye.

Knowing the car since I was ten years old, of course you have some kind of a connection to the machine. All those holiday drives, special moments and memories will stick even though the car is gone, gone forever. But that is life. Letting go and moving on.

Would I have thought that it was that easy to sell the car? Actually, no! Of course I know how different the market is these days, of course there is a high demand for used cars. But not for 19 year old cars, right? Well, I learned lesson that last weekend. As soon as the car was online I sold it. Even for more money that I asked for. And that for a car with over 300.000 km’s on the clock. Amazing. Honestly.

Well, who knows where the car will end up. It will continue its story, that’s for sure.
