You don’t have to take the two weeks vacation ticket to get your mindset right again. A shorter period of time also works, but it’s important to take that time.
For years I thought that I could just go on like this forever. One day off from what we do felt wrong, it felt like loosing or missing out on something. Well, today I know that this was wrong. Taking a break is the best thing we can do once we feel burned out and a bit tired with what we are about to do. And hey, even if the break feels insignificantly small, it will still have a positive impact later on.
