No matter what you can think of right now, they have all one thing in common. In the most cases it’s just about the one thing, money. And motorsport is definitely not an exception to this rule. Money is the most important key factor that defines how motorsport can exist in the future. Once there is less coming out of the equation than coming in the most teams will say good bye forever! After all the passion, love and enthusiasm for the sport, once the numbers aren’t right, people will go!
Of course there is a lot of money in the industry and of course it’s booming as never before, but motorsport was always niche market. Something a lot of people knew that it exists, but that was it. With the climate debates and globalization problems we will see how the motorsport evolves. But one thing is for sure, it needs to be lucrative for the people that do it.
