No matter where you go, it’s always the same. Architects must drive very little cars these days!
It’s maybe just a German thing, but while the cars went bigger and bigger over time, parking spaces seemed to have shrunken. The more modern the building or place, the smaller and more stupid are the parking spaces. Where are all those places where you find a huge empty area with just lines to separate one space to the other? Honestly, what is wrong with those people? Why do we need all those fancy patterns, tress and stones in between parking spaces, honestly, who is accepting those drafts? Don’t they have a car themselves? Or is there really just nobody caring?
No matter where I go, I hardly find a “good” parking area… The most of them are either too small, too creative, too extravagant, too expensive, or all of that sort.
Honestly, if you are an architect, please get this right in the next project of yours!
See you next time!
