I know, I am supposed to be happy about having a week off. Now I have time to relax and enjoy life the fullest, but the truth is just that, I love my job. I love what I am doing there. So, it’s ok to work for me, it’s a part of who I am.

Don’t get me wrong, I will try to enjoy this weeks off time. I will watch the 24h race at the Nordschleife, I will do a lot of sport and simulator practice. I have time to do the things a bit longer than normally in my small time window after work. But a real holiday isn’t necessary. I do not need time to recover, or the like. I do not overpace at work, those times are over. Sure, that would change once I change my job again, but for the moment I can do my job in 40 to 45 hours a week.

And honestly, what is one week off? The time is flying these days, the week will be over in a second. And then everything will be back to the normal business.
