Not that it wouldn’t be a great car. In fact, it’s a very good car for what it is, a four seater family spaceship. But at least for my current situation such a car would be too much of everything, especially weight and value loss. It’s a car for people who do not want to have a sportscar in their garage. I know, this might sound a bit too aggressive for the moment, but that is what the Panamera is. It’s not a sportscar! It’s not the small, nimble and lightweight car you want to enjoy on a Sunday morning drive at 4 am on twisty mountain roads. It’s this big, wide and heavy car that is great for autobahn traveling but that’s really it, honestly! And I don’t need such a car at the moment. Well, who knows, maybe one day I need it, but not right now.

I had the pleasure of traveling with a Panamera once and it was a fantastic week. The car is good at basically everything, but that’s not enough for me. I need a car that does this one job really really good. And that’s not a Panamera.
