We all have some kind of meetings in life. Meetings, appointments, meet ups, events, galas, dinners, pick whatever you want. But today isn’t about all of those gatherings. Today is just about the absurdity of this modern meeting culture.

When was a meeting good? How often do we ask ourselves this question? Too often? I don’t think so. Or do you have time at work to actually think about something as important as this? In reality we are jumping from one meeting to the other. Meeting, meeting, meeting. Or is this just me? It’s not that I am complaining. I like my meetings. It’s just not very effective the way things are getting done here. But I had the same experience in every company I worked for so far. When people have to work together and discuss topics, hopefully important topics, there are always different approaches of how to do it. It’s not that I have the solution, I just know that we could all do things better if we try to break out of our routines. If you have the same regular meeting for longer than a half year and always do the meeting in the same way the meeting isn’t useful. Try to improve things. Change things to get better.
