You will hardly find anybody who is satisfied with what they have. The most of us want more, always! Doing the same job in the same work environment under the same circumstances but with more money, who would say no? Exactly! But there must be a catch, right? Of course there is. Usually you have to work more, take another project, take more responsibility. But that’s not really what we are looking for. If you do a good job at work they will reward you with even more work, great! The key to earning more money is quite simple.

Stop doing what you are paid for. Ok, someone may misunderstand. Stop doing only that what you are paid for. Instead do what needs to be done. Don’t go to work to earn money. Go to work to have fun and enjoy doing what you do. If you haven’t found the right job for you yet, you will soon find it. In what are you interested in? Do more of it! But is that really it? Is it that easy to earn more money?

You have to look at the topic like this. If you do more than you are paid for someone will pay you for that sooner or later as well. Maybe it’s not your current employer, but someone else. A customer, a different company, there are millions of opportunities for us out there. If you are good they will notice, if you aren’t any good in this, do something else.
