The secrets to happiness is low expectations. This might take a while to settle but the longer you think about it the more you will understand. Life is this very strange system nobody really understands. It feels very clear to us on some occasions but blurs away the minute after. The time in between we can stare beyond the endless space of the universe.
A regular meditation practice isn’t necessary. If you understand the process and the concept behind meditating you will feel a difference in your everyday life. Until, well, you either become a guru, just kidding by the way, or you have learned to apply the practice into your regular day. Like you can actively use it to calm yourself done without others noticing. This is quite a tool at hand that gives us an advantage over everyone else in the meeting. Do more without doing more. Do not just track your meditation practice in time, track it in your feelings you have before, while and after it.
