We should always start with a plan. But for this small project the plan was simple. We had to move the entry of the room from one side to the other. Meaning that you have to check if that’s even possible. Where are the electric and water lines in the walls? Which walls can you remove and which are needed for the structure of the house? Where do we want the new door and where can we put it? Which door will we be using? How do we get the hole into the wall? What will we do with the old hole in the wall? What else needs to get changed in the room?

While answering the questions above and many more we came up with a good plan. The old door will become the new door. The hole for the old door will be closed properly. The new door will be opposite the door on the other side of the hall. The walls will get a new wallpaper and painted white. The floor can stay. The ceiling needs no paint but that’s it. And here we had our plan.
