My biggest problem with sport is that I can’t stop. Once I use my motivation techniques I can go on for hours. The issue? I keep on going for hours and in the most of the cases injure myself in some kind of a way. I know, it’s so stupid, but it’s the hardest thing. I have overwritten my safety warnings entirely.
I know what I have to change, but changing it is so hard. The best solution for the moment is to randomly stop “midway”. I do something, let’s say cycling, and I just stop at a random time during my practice session. This is stupid, I know, but it works! Ok, not really! Last Sunday I had one of those days again. I couldn’t stop. Well, now I was forced to take a break. The body always wins and gains back the time it needs to recover. I will write this thing on top of my agenda now. I really have to get this back in control.
