Time is up, or I should rather say, almost up. Two weeks left, two four day work weeks. 8 days split up in pairs of two. Sounds almost doable. Hey, this was an option all the time? Shut up! Well, it wasn’t, at least not a real thing. Just not doable with the workload I have/ had. Well, time to move on.
A four day work week is possible, but not very practical, at least if we are talking about reducing the time. I am forced to get rid of all those over hours I have collected over time. So it’s a real four day work week with a reduced amount of time spent at work. Instead of doing my 43 average I rather do the 32. Not very practical when you have 20 – 30 hours of meetings a week. Honestly, it’s just working because it has to. There is no other way. I will show my colleagues everything they need to know and then I am out of there, starting my new adventure.
Will I change my work ethic? I guess I can adapt it to my new position. Finally I will have the possibility to do the things in the way I want to do them.
See you next time!
