Can you remember a time in which you had nothing to do? No, I mean it. A time in which there was nothing on your mind? Let’s say at the beginning of your summer holidays while being in school? Wasn’t that an awesome feeling? No obligations, no tasks, no nothing. Just you and a lot of time a head of you.
Looking back at those days, honestly, I had this “good feeling” only for a couple of minutes after running out of the school. But once the euphoria was gone, I was back in my usual mode focusing on what was laying ahead.
As an adult with serious interests and hobbies, there is not such a thing as a moment in which we have nothing to do. But of course this was never the goal. It’s not about getting done with what we want to do, life is about doing that stuff. Life is about living. But the concept still sticks to our mind. We are seeking the ultimate time when there is nothing to do, not realizing how boring this day will be. Isn’t that fascinating?
See you next time!
