You take yourself, maybe you have a partner and some kids and look at the numbers. Income minus spendings equals money in the bank. You look at a company and do the same trick and you will lose your mind. Isn’t it fascinating to see how big big companies actually are? I was working for big companies before, that’s not the point, but they had hundreds of facilities around the world. With Audi it’s a bit different. Here in the HQ there are thousands of people running around. One building after the other. It’s the first time that I can actually see how large those companies are. No wonder there is so much potential. The cash flow must be breathtaking.

But what can we learn from this? How can this help us? The answer is quite simple. We often feel like a small change doesn’t have an effect on the way things are. But compare it with a large company and you will see the effect clearly. Even though that some decisions we take might not have a huge impact on our life, they still have an impact.
