Is the future really as electrifying as they claim? I have my doubts. The world didn’t really need another electric +100k car, did it? I am pretty sure that the new Macan is a great car. Of course it will satisfy some of the customers. Modern art students with rich parents, what can they ask more for? The Macan customer was never the typical Porsche customer. This can be an advantage, but also a big disadvantage. Especially the older generations will lack the skills to navigate through the various screens and information systems. They just want to drive from A to B, not from A to the charging station and then maybe, if they are lucky, to B without another stop. The Macan is the allrounder. But is it the allrounder any longer? I for my part can say the obvious, it’s not the right car for me.
