What sounds like a horror movie story is in fact a very tragic case of procrastination. Last year when we have moved one of my doors to another wall, there was this hole underneath it. A hole full of dust and little stones. A hole I wanted to close for a long time. First I wanted to wait for better weather, sounds funny, but that’s a valid point. Materials extend their length when getting warmer and doing something like this in the midst of the winter might actually cause a problem in summer. But honestly, I couldn’t care less. And so I was stepping over this hole for more then what? Half a year? Gosh, so stupid. Next time I just close it in time. Of course I first needed to find the right stones that were used 25 years ago in this house, this also took some time. But not half a year. Well, what should I say. The hole is finally gone! My entrance is done! At least the bigger part of it. What is missing are some small details, well, if I keep up with this awesome pace, this might be finished by the end of the century.
See you next time!
