Nothing is more annoying then standing out. At least for a German person like me. We do not enjoying standing in the spot light. We let others take this place and find ourselves somewhere behind them in the background, perfectly blending in. Fitting into something is not just a shopping related topic. Fitting in is important in every walk of life. No matter if in our social lives, in our cooperate jobs or wherever. Fit in or you will stand out! But fitting in is not just fitting in. If you blend in with the background so perfectly, nobody will ever notice you. Therefore fitting in completely can never be the solution. We still have to be different, doing things differently, but never overstep a particular line. If you try to play with fire, you can get burned. The person who grabs the sword will die through the sword. I guess we get the message. Fit in without fitting in. Be socially correct, but at the same time unique. The future belongs to the people who can do both. Blending in and standing out when needed.
