The more we think about it, the more we want the prices to go down. But will they go down? The future of the sportscar is a difficult topic. Fuel burning engines are supposed to die, electric cars are on the rise. But will the market accept the changes? Will electric sport cars be the future, or will people stick to the old technology? I don’t think that the prices will go down significantly. Of course some just don’t want to pay the price of driving an old car and therefor try to sell their cars after 6 or so years of ownership, but those will be insignificant. The only real effect on the market value that I see as a possible factor will be the rules in the European market. If internal combustion engines cars will be banned one day, taxes, running costs and the like will increase significantly. But if this doesn’t happen, which is my personal opinion, the prices will stay as they are and even increase the moment brands officially stop producing those cars any longer.
