It’s crucial to our wellbeing. Without good sleep, life really starts to suck. We all know that we need more quality sleep. Especially once we have started to dive a bit deeper into the topic of sleep and regeneration. But why is having a good night full of sleep so difficult to achieve? What are we doing wrong?

There are life hacks toward the topic and I am sure, there are at least a million things to do or not to do before sleeping to have an impact on our sleep quality. Nevertheless, we also want to do something else in life besides sleeping and getting ready for sleep. We have a life, or at least some of us call it a life.

Sleep is like a cousin from the darks side of your family. You know you have to invite them to the party, but you would much rather live your life without them.

The moment we start thinking about sleep, it becomes somehow a very strange process. We, at least most of the time, lay down and close our eyes. We are existing without actually existing during that time. Sure, some of us wake up the next day feeling ready for the day ahead, but definitely not all of us. And I am not only talking about the people that do not get up at all. I sometimes wake up feeling more exhausted then the evening I went to bed. I feel like I did a lot during the night. Fighting off big dragons, winning the 24h of Le Mans, you name it. Is it really all just in our head?
