It’s one of those typical things to say. I know. But it’s true, somehow. We have to be at least one step ahead of everyone else. Even if that means being two steps a head, because others can also think one step ahead. But not it’s getting complicated, isn’t it? How many steps can we really be ahead?

I guess this answer needs to come from within. We need to develop a feeling for how well prepared and ready we are. We should go into meetings and discussions with a clear vision for how it will end. And guess what, it always ends exactly the way we have anticipated it. The only problem, we also let the bad outcomes leave their mark. Try to think at least one step ahead of everyone else! It helps us to see the world with different eyes and opens up new possibilities to improve and grow.
