It’s this time of the year again. Ok, I got it! It’s a privilege to have all these holidays during the year. And yes! I am grateful for having them! But you can hardly get anything done during these weeks. First, a lot of people have the week off anyways. With no people at work, you can hardly get anything done in time. You constantly need to wait for someone coming back. But you know the struggle! Especially when you need to do the other peoples jobs too while they are gone. The other problem is, that you still need to do your job, you just have less time for doing it. No matter how short the week will be, if tasks are due this week, we have to find a way to push through anyways! So what do we do? Taking those weeks off? Letting others enjoy a time off and push through? I always try to balance it out. And of course these weeks will not last forever. Soon there will be normal work weeks again.
