With me doing things always a little bit different compared to the average human being, of course I wouldn’t just drive a lap on the Nordschleife by myself. I have to wait for the right moment to come. But nevertheless this doesn’t mean that my friends can’t go for a drive. And so I experienced my first lap on the Nordschleife in my friends car from the passenger seat. Of course the track isn’t really a surprise for me. I have stopped counting after 5.000 virtual laps. But it’s quite interesting to see the differences between the virtual and the real world. Not that the differences wouldn’t be too different, but at certain parts on the track the real world track is a bide wider and easier than in the simulator. But maybe that was just my perspective from the passenger seat. The compressions and g-forces are awesome, the elevation changes mega and just the whole atmosphere something special. This was definitely not the last time being on side and on the track.
