Correct me if I am wrong, but the long-time readers will already laugh at this point! “Mr. I don’t need a vacation” talks about a summer vacation? Don’t be a fool! I am not! But at least at the Audi AG, the summer vacation is a big thing. The production comes to a standstill. Time for maintenance in the production! But of course I am working in the technical development. Here there is also a kind of a summer break. A time where the people should take some weeks off. Especially due to the school holidays in Bavaria at the same time!

With me having no kids, I let my coworkers take their time off. Meaning that for the first time ever, I will not have at least three weeks off in August. I will have my days off in September, don’t worry about me! Four weeks off is perfect, also in September. But what makes me wonder more is how the August will be. Working while the weather outside is perfect. Working while everyone is gone? How will my workdays will look like? Do I still have the same amount of meetings? Will I finally have some time to get stuff done. We will see! Honestly, I am looking forward to it!
