This will be the last part regarding my driver training! I promise! So let’s keep it short! Here are my final thoughts!
#1 The driver training was not really a “training”. It was an evaluation process to find out if we are capable of driving or not. So I haven’t learned anything there, I just had some time behind the steering wheel of an Audi RS4.
#2 You don’t get any feedback regarding your overall performance. One year ago Audi changed their evaluation grades and so the only feedback you get is “passed” or “not passed” … Well, I have a clear opinion about that! This is stupid! You need to give people a feedback regarding what they did right, wrong and tell them what they should focus on.
#3 Even though we were spending around 9 hours there, the actual driving time was very small. You needed to wait so long until the others were done with their exercises and even if it was your cars turn, you also needed to switch with the other person from your car all the time.
Overall it was a fun day, but I definitely had expected more. Well, the instructors ended the day with the words. “We also offer other trainings that actually make fun.” And well, maybe I can do one of those one day too.
See you next time!
