How long should we meditate? A question we can hardly answer. Some say longer, some say shorter, I say, it doesn’t even matter. The exercise behind meditating is to understand that you think and let it go. Meaning that at least in theory, we can meditate 24/7. We always think and we can always prevent ourselves from thinking. But of course that isn’t easy. Especially if you have a very active thought process between your two ears like I do. That’s why taking some time off for meditating is a good thing! It helps us to get going and getting used to this fuzzy moment of stopping ourselves from thinking. I am using some Apps in the moment to guide me through the meditations. How does this work? So far so good! Time will tell if it’s this time a different approach to my various attempts over the last 10 years.
