With my new car coming early in 2025, it’s time for me to make some plans about some possible road trips. I want to go to Italy with my gf in summer, I want to make a tour through the Schwarzwald region with one of my friends in Spring. I want to make some day trips to cities and museums.

But how do you plan a roadtrip? I have never made one. At least not a real one. Sure, I was driving some mountain passes in Switzerland and Austria, but that wasn’t really planned. It was necessary in order to drive to the hotel. But this time it should be different. This time it’s all about the driving. At least on the smaller road trips. That’s why I need to start planning those trips! And believe me when I tell you, there is nothing I hate more, then planning those kind of trips. I get lost in the details and forget all about the big picture.

Let’s just start with some destinations today. I want to go to Audi in Neckarsulm, to Porsche in Stuttgart, to Rothenburg ob der Tauba and to Heidelberg. If any one of you have some other places in mind, please let me know!
