It’s not Tuesday when I write this. It’s not important which day it is. Rain is falling down today. It’s raining we would say. A funny process, this rainfall. Water drops of different size and shape fall down back on earth. Onto us. Onto everything. Also onto this window of mine. It’s a roof window with an angle. Perfect for counting the rain drops. As more rain is falling now, everything gets darker. The pavement, the rooftops, water is everywhere.

In our busy everyday life, it’s just raining right now. Don’t forget your jacket they would say. But it’s not a normal day today. No! Today I am having a day off. I can spent some time thinking about nothing else besides the rain drops on my window. It’s expected to stop. There it was. Another thought. I got distracted. I took my phone to check my e-mails. When will my delivery arrive today? Is it already on its way. I got distracted! I lost my focus. Stupid me. I go back to my window. Back to the rain. But it has stopped now. The sun is shining through the clouds. Maybe I can focus on the sun light in some minutes.
