Doing April fools isn’t really a thing in Germany. Or at least not in the way my parents tried to make me think. No honestly, April fools were always something we wouldn’t actually do. Or if we do, we would make small jokes. Nothing too wild or spectacular. Well, this year my gf had a good idea and thanks to ChatGPT, the idea was realistically added to our pictures in no time. KI is really useful for those kind of tricks. My parents got the joke quite easily. For them the whole story just wouldn’t make sense. They know me. They know that I wouldn’t just get a cat without telling them. Yes! I am a good kid! Always was, always will be. Only my sister we could trick. She was very disappointed in us. She was very angry that we got a cat without telling her. But well, as it seems, not angry enough. On her way back home she went to a pet store and bought a little toy for our fictional cat. Ohhhhhhhh! So sweet of her!

I think I will make the April fools thing become a big part of my life from now on. It was a lot of fun!
