Spring is here, at least on paper! Nevertheless, it’s time to change to the summer tires. On Monday I had my appointment at the local Audi dealership. The most important question of the day? How much more performance will they bring the car? Quite a lot, I guess. Driving around on winter tires is always a bit of a tricky thing with sport cars. Why? Normally the soft compound should help for more traction. But this effect is not really worth mentioning because the tire profile has too many cut outs that loose grip at the same time. You slide more around with them in the heat.

Today when writing this post, the tires are not yet changed, so please give me some more time for the feedback on the looks and performance of the summer tires.
