#2313 #RS = RS3

Today will be a double letter, obviously. I mean come on! My car has to be the topic of today’s post. If you would have asked me some years back in time, the RS3 was always in my top 5 list. But, and I communicate this openly, it was never on the top. My mistake, honestly! I have the car for over half a year now and did 10.000 km in it. And what can I say! It’s perfect in so many ways! There is only little that you get used to, but let’s start in the beginning.

If you are looking for a one car solution as a car guy with no kids, this is your one car solution! You can drive with the car literally everywhere and that to every time of the year. Rain, snow, dust, leaves on the ground, whatever the road in front of you has to offer, the RS3 just gets it over with. If you want to drive a real drivers car, this is it. Honestly, if you ever need a car for a heist, the RS3 is your car. The car keeps a low profile and only the enthusiasts can differentiate it from a standard A3. It can drive silently, has an exceptional light system in the night and makes just fun.

There is not a single day on which I regret that purchase. There are only days that I call myself lucky for not choosing an unpractical two seater sportscar. As a weekend car, sure, why not, but if your garage consists out of one car only, you don’t need a two seater sportscar, believe me!

The RS stands for Rennsport by the way. Motorsport that Audi was very active in. These days we prepare the start in the formula one. Agreed, it’s sad that Audi went out of the GT3 and customer racing but it is how it is. We can’t change it. The only thing I have to say, tomorrow will be a great day! I will drive around 500 km in my RS3.

See you next time!
