When was the last time that you took a break in between whatever you were doing? For me, this has an eye opening effect these days. I am used to work on my tasks too focused. I neither look left nor right. I just try to push through. Waisting no time to reflect on my doing. And that’s so wrong! It’s not really efficient. My new approach is different. I take some time to reflect. I take some time to wonder what is going on. Is this the way I should work on this topic? Is this the best method to keep on going? What am I not seeing? What are the disadvantages of my strategy? And it doesn’t even take long. Just a couple of breaths. Explaining the process to your coworker. That’s all it takes. It’s that simple, really.
