My diet sucks. No really! It’s bad! Very bad! It misses everything, basically! Variety is just the first thing that comes to mind. When I finally take the time and cook something delicious, I want to eat it for the rest of my life. Unfortunately the taste fades away without variety. And it’s not just that. I actually need the variety. I tend to eat the same stuff day in day out. How stupid of me. The only solution I have found is making a plan. Taking some time off from my regular life, dedicating it to the topic of my nutrition.
There is a difference between having a plan and living a plan. I tend to fall back into my regular lifestyle pretty quickly. Too quickly if you are asking me. But I have to work on that! My personal wellbeing is on the line. Let’s focus on the topic!
What I need are at least 7 regular meals. 7 meals for 7 days in the week. After that I can bring in some variety through making them with different ingredients. So what about a pasta day, a rice day, a potato day, a bread day, a I don’t know day? I have been there, it doesn’t work.
What about making a Baukasten system? Having all the ingredients in a list and make out of it different meals. Well, I have been there, tried it, it doesn’t work. I guess the only thing that really works is finding the motivation and then just doing it. Let’s try that one!
