I can see it in their eyes. My two cats think at least, that they could do the job. Valentina, my younger cat, might be agile enough. With Milana, I am not sure. She loves to watch the birds through the windows. Getting into the hunting mode whenever she can. But of course we don’t let her. The birds in our garden are safe. At least from my two cats. Maybe one day, when we don’t life in the first floor anymore, my cat’s can also have some kind of a garden. But they shouldn’t hunt birds. Not on my watch. They have enough toys to hunt after. That’s more than enough for them. And to be honest, they wouldn’t have a chance anyways, would they?
Milana was a street cat for a year. She has showed the world that she can survive, but I don’t know on what basis. She isn’t particularly quick, if you are asking me. So birds she would probably not hunt. But who knows. She is back at the window now. But the birds are not out today. There is too much snow.
See you next time!
