With all the money in the world you could buy the most expensive cat toys out there. But at the end of the day, a carton will always win.

Sure, you see those Instagram videos and know about this, of course. But I never had a cat before. I did not know how much they really like it. And sure, we are just talking about a simple carton. You do not even have to do anything with it. Just put it there. Done. Your cats are busy for the next three days.

Being an engineer, of course my cats get some extra challenges. You can do a lot of funny things with cartons, especially when you have multiple of them. Right now my cat’s are busy again. I have put two cartons with their opening together and another one on top. You can’t imagine how cool this must be for them. One always wants to be the cat inside, while the other is finding a way to get in there too.

Cartons are the best cat toy after all. The only problem is, that the play is very loud. Not so good if you have neighbors that want to sleep at 4 in the morning.
