With my health issues preventing me from having daily racing simulator sessions, I honestly just cruise around a little bit on the weekends. Sounds not like the ideal plan in order to become a racing driver one day, but health issues are more important than any goal we can ever have. True, from cruising around we do not really get better, but it gives us time to work on other fields of racing. For example the ideal line, the suspension and the cold tire behavior.
And besides all of that I just can’t stand not driving at least a couple of hours a week on the simulator. Even if it’s just cruising around with an oldtimer. It’s not that cruising isn’t fun, it’s just different. It helps to calm down and let your thoughts flow. Agreed, in a real car out there it’s even better, but I rarely just go for a drive these days. Yes, the health issue again. Soon I will be fine again. Just give me some more time!
See you next time!
