#1229² PASSION, MOTIVATION & MINDSET² – S6 E6 – WHY IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT OTHERS THINK ABOUT YOU

We grow up in this world learning to care for each other. That’s what you do being a part of a group. While our actual modern “tribe” consists only of our close friends and family members, all those other people seem not to be that important after all. They are just here representing the other part of society.

But that can hardly be it. We don’t care about other peoples opinion just because of that. There must be something else. Deep inside we are looking for acceptance and recognition. We want to feel proud about what we are doing. We want to be socially accepted among our herd. And so we do look! We do copy! We do pretend to fit in!

What a waste of time.

When everyone is trying to be a part of the game, that’s the game. Nobody knows what to do, we are all just repeating what others did before us. But that doesn’t make it right. That doesn’t make this lifestyle worth chasing after.

It’s hard to let go.

It’s even harder to swim against the stream. The day you will understand you shall be free. But the day you understand life only becomes a lot harder. Now you can’t just copy what others did before you. Na! Now you have to create your own way.

People will judge you, but they will judge you anyways.

It’s what we do, it’s what we like, it’s what we have to do. Never try to make them stop, they will not stop. Never try to make them feel bad, it will just get only worse. Never try to give in, this situation might stop but another fire will start to burn. Never use fire against fire, just let them talk. It’s not your job to help the people, you can only help yourself. Do what you think is right.

See you next time!
