We all watch some kind of a live event. A soccer game, racing, a concert. Being able to see stuff from the other side of the world “live”, is kind of a modern miracle. Of course it’s not really live, there is a small delay, but it’s close to being live. The problem I see with live events is that we have to adapt, or actually adapt our life according to the events. Sure, sometimes that’s a great thing to have. We have something to look forward to. But we neglect the other hours of our time for it. We focus too much on this event and hustle through the rest of the day. That’s why I decided to reduce my time watching stuff live. You can always rewatch events, sometimes it’s even more time efficient because there are no tv breaks or the like. You can skip the parts that don’t interest you and get your customized “life” experience.
