Being new in the social media world is kind of a funny thing to say. I mean I am using social media for the last ten or so years. But as a consumer, not as a creator. And so getting followers is actually not as easy as it might sound. Especially when you don’t want to have your friends and family following your new adventure. Of course you can’t hide it from them, but I don’t want to feel them watching what I do.

Posting regularly is nothing new to me. I do it here on the blog for a long time. The difference is just that, on instagram in particular, videos are the new pictures. And so you have to create content I am definitely not used to do. Well, of course it’s just a fun project of mine and if it fails and I don’t get any followers, well, I still have learned a lot and definitely had fun while doing that!

So how do we get followers? We need to show interesting content. Something the people actually want to see. And this can be everything! I guess being funny is an option, but there is also the alternative of showing different content. Like showing stuff people know from their own life, that they complain about, that they feel understood, or can relate to. For me, I am just experimenting a little bit with the options and creativity I have. Well, if you have any ideas, please let me know!

Of course my new account is related to the topic of cars, nature, and so on. So I will probably not do a fashion blog, but who knows. Finding your niche, as they say and who knows which niche I represent.
