Above the clouds up in the air is a hidden world we can only dream about. A world that we can enter only with big efforts. Fighting gravity was never easy. It takes energy, a lot of it. Energy and a machine that can fly. The most of us took a flight in their life already. But hardly we fly on our own. Today I want to talk about flying. More specifically about flying a small airplane or helicopter.

This must be the dream. Jumping behind the cockpit and just go. Italy is only a couple of hours to the south. The world becomes small. Borders disappear. This must be a great hobby to do. If you follow this blog for a while, you know about my passion for flying. Whenever I can, I sit in my simulator and practice. Of course that is not the same, but it’s as close as it can get for me right now. On my walks around my new home I walk by a helicopter field. They are doing the emergency service for the area. It’s great to see them up in the air everyday. Even though this means that there is a person that needs help.

Flying might become a hobby of me in the future. Who knows. Until then I watch and learn.
