Time isn’t actually running against us. Time is an illusion by itself. Agreed, our time might be limited, but we can’t change that anyways. We can save our resources for later. Wait and wait for the right moment to come. But guess what, it will never come.

When I was 16 years old, we had bought a motorcycle for me. I took great care of it. Always maintained it, always cleaned it, always greased the chain, checked the oil, you know how to do that. And of course I would always heat up the engine before giving it a go. I sold that bike some years later just to figure out that I had took such care of it, someone else was happy about the condition of the bike, but I never just enjoyed having it in the first place. And I see the same thing happening with my car right now. Why do I care about who might have the car in the future? I own this car today. What do I care about tomorrow? Sure, I still want to maintain it perfectly, but I also want to enjoy the process of having it. And if driving the car means that it will get stone chips and km’s on the clock, then this is how it is. I need to start enjoying this life. I need to start right now.
