#2528 UNMUTE

Microsoft Teams meeting screen with 14 participants and one active speaker

There was a time when we were sitting in a room with a bunch of other people to talk about stuff that was shared over the beamer onto the wall. The good old silly times. These days we are sitting in team calls, unmuting us for a quick second to say stuff like. “No questions from my side.” Or “Can you see my screen already?”.

Life has changed, hasn’t it? I guess unmuting is the new rising above. It will start a revolution. Ok, maybe not a revolution, but maybe a small movement. We will unmute ourselves and talk about the things that are going on our nerves. Like the politicians that have lost the contact to the hard ground of reality in Germany. But let’s not get too political today, I mean, you can just mute me if you don’t want to hear it. Oh, wait a second. You are in home office, aren’t you. You are not supposed to actually work! Hey you! Stop working! Isn’t there a dishwasher you have to clear out, or an apartment to vacuum clean? I am over and out! You will have no access to the chat any longer!

See you next time!
